Star Citizen Shader Cache Cleaner (Portable)
==============================================

WHAT THIS DOES
Clears compiled Star Citizen shader caches so the game rebuilds them
fresh. Useful after patches, driver updates, or visual glitches.

HOW TO USE
  1. Close Star Citizen and the RSI Launcher completely.
  2. Unzip this folder anywhere on your PC.
  3. Double-click Clear-StarCitizen-Shaders.bat
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts.
  5. Launch Star Citizen. The first load will take longer than usual
while shaders recompile. That is normal.

SAFE TO SHARE
This pack uses only standard Windows environment paths
(%LOCALAPPDATA% and %APPDATA%). No usernames or install paths
are hardcoded. Anyone can unzip and run it.

WHAT GETS DELETED
  - %LOCALAPPDATA%\Star Citizen\...\shaders
  - %LOCALAPPDATA%\Star Citizen\...\vulkanshadercache
  - %APPDATA%\rsilauncher\shaders (if present)

Your graphics settings and keybinds are NOT deleted.

NOTES
  - Files are permanently deleted, not sent to Recycle Bin.
  - No administrator rights are required.
  - If the game is still running, the script will warn you and can
optionally close SC/RSI processes for you.
